the pichu section was helpful. cause the only reason i wished the notch earred pichu could breed was so that it could somehow learn volt tackle but it alreayd knows it which is a big plus to me lol.

few questions about these side-events:

1. Shotokan Pichu -
Do you fight them both (and use pokeballs) or do you need an empty slot in your party so notched eared can join? (cuz the main thread, there's a double battle but it's stated that he just joins the party. so i'm a bit confused)

2. All events -
Can I do all the events when i get to that area? For instance, my party are all around 12-13, i have Pichu and Arceus (events). Since i passed the cave to get the lv 1 legendaries, can i get mine now or do i have to wait til after the national dex? same with Pichu soon (i'm getting ready for Gym #2)

1- you dont fight them.  You have an extra slot so Gizamimi Pichu can join.  The battle was just showing a battle of them in action on the game

2- Im definately sure that the arceus event needs ndex to get to the shinto thingy, but i dont know if the same is with the pichu thingy. you'll have to check

hey aryeh. how can ppl collect the gizamimi pichu if they can't traded. is the no trading thing to plat. or just all around. cause thats pretty dumb i wish it can be traded just not between D/P. plz tell me.
EDIT: when u find the gizamimi pichu in illex forest do u hav to catch it or does it just go in a pokeball?

The notched ear pichu is an extra. You need an empty slot on your team and you need CUT to get to the shrine. Then it´s just getting your pichu in the first place of your team and check the shrine. The notched will jump out of the trees and talk with your pichu. Then it will "talk" with you and join your team. After you get it, you can´t use any wifi station nor the union room. You need to go talk with prof oak with the notched ear in the first place of your team. He will check it and tells you that it´s a special pokemon that can´t leave your game. He will contact every pokemon center and tells them that you need to take very good care of that pichu, so it can't get out to another trainer. After that if you try to get it to be traded you get a error message saying that you can´t trade with that pokemon in your team.

It goes into the pokeball, you dont have to catch it.  It automaticly joins you.  And no you can not trade it to ANY game.  It is stuck on the game you get it on.  If you want one, you gotta get the Shokotan Pichu onto your game and unlock the event.

IIRC, corrections:
It is spiky eared, not notched eared.

Second, the three legends dont come with the moves I don't believe. Giratina didn't come with shadow sneak for me. TI is a new level up move for them.

That's not a correction,  It was Notched Eared which is what they called the Gizamimi Pichu (and I posted Gizamimi on this thread), but the new american name is Spikey Eared, I just havnt edited it to include the new american name of it.  So it's not a correction, it's a change they made.

I updated the Dialga/Palkia/Giratina thing with their special moves
it's not much of an update, but I thought I should say it :]

Moves: Dialga will have Metal Burst, ??
           Palkia will have Hydro Pump, ??
           Giratina will have Shadow Sneak, ??

are the special moves official though?

you don't need the national dex to get giratina, palkia or diagla.....i got mine after the first gym.....you just need acreus in your party and that's it.....you can't have any other pokemon in the party otherwise you won't get the legendaries
